Aqua D-Light VHO

Anyone try these yet? URI Aqua D-Light VHO Fluorescent Tubes. I was looking through the new DF&S magazine and came across them.
They say, Blue - True actinic phosphor peaks at 420 nm
White - 12,000K full-spectrum
Pretty cheap too... 6-8 mnth life though

ive asked about them and someone told me they were the same as the URI bulb w/o the internal reflector-- thats about all i can tell you.

I think that I had read about these as well, but the impression that I got was that they only came in NO.

My initial response is that less light going into the tank. Even if you used an external reflector.
But I dont really know all the implications of removing the reflector. i'm willing to bet that since the cost is less, it is merely the "base" model. The typical internal reflector bulbs are probably the "sport" package;)
