Anybody have any opinions on these? They seem to be the step up from tank style pumps to a pond style pump. Are the any good? the website says they have a 9 year warranty?
What kind of pumps would be good for me to run ? I'm designing a 500 gallon tank to house a pair of coral cat sharks. So I need a lot of turn over in the tank . I don't think little giants are going to work. With the head restrictions I have calculated I will need to run at least four littel giant to get 10x turn over . I would really like to get at least 15x . And that would requier running 6 or more little giant 5.5's.
Trying to make up the difference using power heads seams like a waste of time/money.
Please help me big tank and lagoon owners .

i have no personal experiance with them but if i was to go 'big' id go with a Sequence pump.. they have tons of pumps .. they dont use as much electric and ad very little heat.. there price is'nt bad for what you get out of them..
