I don't know for sure, but its 6" wide so maybe you can fit the pump in one compartment and the spill over in another? Tell me if you try because I would like to add one to my Bio-cube.

That was kind of my thought also but I would have to order it online and if it don't fit it would be useless. But I guess I will wait and see if anyone else responds and go from there. I will keep you posted! Thanks!!!

Just bought one for my 30 Finnex. You can see my setup HERE
Fits fine in mine. I also have my 2 heaters in the same chamber.
As you can see only the return rests on the lip of the tank. It's about 4" wide.
Why would it be useless? Most reputable online stores have a return policy.
Let me know if you have any other question.
OBTW, I found it for $135 including shipping. PM me and I'll give you the site. Not nice to post competitors sites on here!

I can't find an on line store that sells them that will let you return unless the item has not been opened. I can't determine the fit without opening the box and looking things over. I guess that's why I was hoping to find someone with a 12g Aquapod that was using one. They look like a nice little skimmer and it sure looks like it might fit. Thanks for the pic. I'm not sure what you mean by PM you. If you would be so kind to e-mail me the online store I would really appreciate it. My e-mail is: phb63@mchsi.com Thank you very much!!!

PM=Private Mail. It looks as though this board does not have that function. You do know it is a hang on type skimmer right? The lip that returns to your tank is 4" wide. It comes with a Maxi-Jet power head that feeds the skimmer. This sits in the return/over flow in your tank. Looking at this picture it looks as though you may need to mod the cover a bit.

I would head over to nano-reef dot com and ask there.
You have mail!

There is no middle chamber because there are four sections. It looks like only 3 but there are 4. Each line you see running up and down on the back wall of the tank in the pic above is actually where the chambers are divided off at. Each of the four chambers are only like 4" wide. There has to be a skimmer out there that will work. I was thinking of removing the wall between chamber 1 and 2 to make more room but that mod should have been done before the tank was set up and running. I hate to tear it all down now and start over. I just had a good cycle. Got to love this hobby!!!
Thanks All! :notsure:

Try a search for the Sapphire Nanoskimmer, there are a few different models out there for the AP's and BC's.
