I would get the bubble trap!!! I have a Aqua C Remora with maxi jet 1200 on my 55 and it works great, but everytime I clean the cup the bubbles come back then goes away once the skimmer starts to work again. The one I just mentioned would work for ya! :happyfish

The pre-filter is HUGE! I got it but I didn't see any difference and it took up a huge amount of space in the tank. It's now collecting dust in the basemnet.
