I am thinking of asking for an AquaC Remora for Christmas. My tank is a liile more then 2.75 in from the wall. Can someone give me the exact width sites say different things and I want to make sure? Also are these pretty good, right now I have a cheap Red Sea Airstone driven counter current and it sucks.

I measure it at almost exactly 2.75(just under), this is the non-pro. If you set it that close you will proly have to unscrew the feet on the bottom that rest on the back wall of the tank.
I find it pulls out a wet skimmate, but it definitely takes more out than my old prism did and requires almost no adjustment

The problem is, is that I don't have a sump. My wet-dry filtration is built into my tank back and I only have minimal room for a in tank skimmer.

You can't pull that tank out from the wall some? Remora's are some of the slimest skimmers there are.

You're gonna have to do some serious sanding (it's 3.25")!! You may want to check the Bak-Pak also...

the non pro is 2.72 on my tape measurer, if you want I could get my caliper or micrometer from work and check for an exact measurement?

Or you could just drain some of the water and move your tank out about 3". sounds like a nice Saturday project. Then again, you could always cut the wall.
