AquaC Remora Protein Skimmers?

Just looking for people's opinion on the Remora. I've had one for about a year and it works great but I always like to see other people's opinions.

What about the noise level though? I've heard that they are kind of loud. I have a CPR bakpak, which I'm not too impressed with, and I was thinking about getting a Remora. My bakpak used to be pretty loud, but I did the bioball mod on the maxijet and it quieted it down to a whisper. I really like that, but I'm still not too happy with the lack of skimmate it's pulling. All I seem to get is light green water. Can someone please comment on the noise level of their Remora?

my remora is preety loud, it sounds like a sink running, so i have it on a timer to turn it off at night.

They are a little noisy, but quieter than Seaclones or CPRs. Skimmers are noisy by default, you learn to block it out eventually.
