AquaClear 20 for a refugium?

Hi everyone! Your opinions and knowledge would be much appreciated here, as I am still kinda new at this. I have a 20 gallon high tank, using an AC 70 filter. I have a clownfish and sixline wrasse and the usual clean-up crew. A few rics and mushrooms as well. My water parameters are fine and I have no problems, but I would like to add another clown. I would like a HOB refugium, but have limited space on the back of my tank. My question is- would converting an aqua clear filter into a refugium be worthwhile, or would it be too small to have any benefit?
Thanks so much for any help!

i would turn the 70 into a refugium and use the aquaclear 20 for the filter just my 2 cents, and i guess you could use the ac 20 as a refuge i am just not sure it would be worth the trouble.

Hi again! I have another refugium related question. Today, I bought a LED strip light for it, but now I'm not sure if it is bright enough. It is a strip style light, with 6 LED's. 6 Watt. Opinions appreciated!
THANKS for all the help everyone!
