Has anyone ever used a AquaFuge refugium? it hangs on the back. its at p..etwar (E)[house] dotcom under aquariums. it looks pretty neat for those without a sump or even those with a sump ;)

never used it but was considering it, until someone got me a small tank for christmas, they seem all right to me, and no chance of flooding your main tank with one either

I thought of getting one for my 55g reef. Price will keep me away for a while, but I will have to get one to have a sump. No room under tank stand. Any info on these would be appreciated.. By the way I think links are now allowed.....????

I've had one for a while now and have only one complaint. Since it is made of clear plex the light shines though it into your main tank at night. Also it does not come with a light so you will need to DIY one. overall it works as intended growing calupera and is now full of pods. There is a concern about what will happen if the syphon return fails as the pump which is in the tank will quickly fill the fuge and overflow onto the floor. So far this has not happended and not sure how it could but still the concern is there. Overall not a bad product but kind of pricey, a good item for a non DIY person or if you have no room for a sump.
