Aquapod 12 gallon

New here and wanted to say hi. I just bought a 12g Aquapod. Waiting for it to get delivered sometime next week. I'm kinda new to this. I hadd a 55g tank before with a couple of corals.
I wanted to know what I should do when I get the tank. Like what's the cycle process. I wanna run about 15-20 ibs of live rock and 20 ibs or live sand. I wanna be able to have a good variety of corals and like 2-3 fish. I've been reading to take out everything out the back...don't really understand it. any help and suggestions would be great.I will post pics up when I get it up and running. Thanks

I read it. Where can I get all that stuff....I see your also in miami...any shops you recommend. I used to get all my stuff at exotic before. Also, can you get a pic of your entire setup in the back...It would help. Thanks

LOL. I love exotic! Have you been to strictly fish also in bird road? Whatbout extreme aquariums in 8th street? Well you can get that in any of your local fish store. And yes I will do tomorrow. Its pretty late now.

Exotic and Strictly I used to go to all the time. Haven't been to the other one. Also, when you can another day, what exactly do I need for this, and how much of it. I wanna head to the shop and pick everything up. Just wanted to have a list of everything I need

yep yep. but ima take it out. i just found out it traps trates in there. but man i love yours more then mine

Just waiting on the AP 12...thinking about switching it to the 24 though. Also researching in doing the eggcrate mod, but don't know what to put in it besides the filter floss. So I have a bit of time in my hands before I get the pod and set it up. Once I get the pod, I'm gonna do a diary of it

perfect! oh also when ever you want frags let me know. me and my bro in law are selling frags from 5-10 bucks! lol. xenias, toadstools, zoas, kenya trees. etcc. just put chaeto, chemipure elite, purigen. and thats it. no filter floss

Cool....hey, I'm switching from a 12g to a 24g, Do you think I'll need a 75W heater or no?

Nissan buy the stuff at the craft store or Walmart called Polyester Fiber Fil. Really cheap for a big bag of it. It will only trap nitrates if you leave it in too long. Change it out twice a week and it will be fine. Look how much stuff it is trapping, doing a good job for your tank.

Also, what do you guys think would be the best to put on the eggcrate mod:
1. Chaeto and Filter Floss
2. Chaeto, Filter Floss and Chemipure Elite
3. Chaeto, Chemipure Elite, Purigen
4. Chaeto, Fliter Floss and Purigen
I'll be putting in a 10W submersible light that Whisk was kind enough to point out to me
Let me know your opinion's on this. Trying to figure out what would be the best way.
