I agree with Nissan that #3 is the best. I will be using filter floss for a little while as my tank becomes more established and then eventually i'll drop it and do the #3 setup. Though I hear purigen is optional. I'm still debating if i'll be using it or not.

Hey guys wanted to jump in on the thread and say I'm also from Miami and go to Exotic......
I just posted pics for the first time in a nanocube diary thread go check it out, also I'm interested in seeing your stuff nissan, can you take pics of some of your stuff? Also would you be interested in trading? (My bro has a 35g a 12g and a 6g with stuff to trade) .....

Rowaphos is the most effective media for removing phosphates as well as silica. I have some coming any day now, I will let you know how well it works for me.

So I decided to stay with the 12g. I looked at the chambers in the back and don't know if I should do the eggcrate mod or leave all the media that came with it. Those chambers look so small. If I do put the eggcrate, with the 3rd choice of media's from the post above, what do I do with the other 2 chambers? The 4th one has the pump.
