Hello all,
Looking for a bit of advice. I have a 12gallon Aquapod sold by Current USA. I am a bit confused on some of the things this does. For instance there is a "built in skimmer" (non mechanical) thing on the top left of the backside of the tank --- pic below ---
As you can see the water level is the same as the main tank.. Is that right? From what I have seen in stores on thier display is about a 2-3in drop as the water pours in over the sponge helping create a kind of suction to help pull all that junk off the top off the water, "skimming it"..
I replaced the stock pump w/ a Rio 800 thinking it was a flow issue, did nothing... The only change in the filter media I have made was adding filterfloss. Hoping it would catch a lil more than the big blue sponge that came w/ the tank...
Anyone with experience with this tank out there???
Please help..
