Hey guys,
been getting my feet wet, hitting the books and the sites. I'm about ready to mingle. Anyone know a good site or link or even personal advice about either of these nano tanks, reviews, prices, etc? I'm aiming for a reef set up, like two fish and some inverts.
I mainly want to know from your experience; how your time has been with either of these tanks, did you wish you got the other one, any problems with the current one you have? Thanks guys, ive been enjoying your threads and pictures.

My tank is the aquapod 24, you saw it. Its pretty decent, the back chambers have 2 choices, and both are fairly small. I wish there was room for a refugium or chaeto.
Theres no big flaws besides that, just take out the bioballs included with the AQ24 with LR rubble and youre set.
Besides, youll always like the bigger tank :)

Thanks paintballer, yeah I'm still debating. I like it small and compact, thats what attracted me to nanos. So what do you mean the back chambers have 2 choices?
I'm trying to find out it the biocube 14 and aqua 24 are pretty much the same, or if the 24 has room for extra add ons (skimmer, etc) that the 14 can't handle. Or are they pretty much the same but gallon difference? thanks all

Always go for the bigger tank if you can.
So I hear, so I hear...thanks for the reply Fenrir.
I been looking around google a bit and looks like a lot of people have asked the same question. It seems pretty split about pros and cons of each type. I'll keep researching, i'm in no hurry.

Funny thing, I am debating the same thing. I don't know which one to get! I am a NewB at nanos too, but I owned a 55g now for 2 years.

Yeah its a hard decision. Bigger tank might be nice, i can put more stuff in it and such, easier to maintain too. But something about a more compact tank is appealing to me. Either way, i'm trying to weightthe pros and cons of each and basically its coming down to quality of parts, filtration, and ease of modding.

They are both good brands, and I have the 14 biocube and I love it. However I wish I had 10 more gallons to add more stuff. lol I wish I got the 29 Bio

i would go with the 24 because its still small and compact but at the same time you have plenty of room to do some cool stuff. you can put more fish in it as well. more corals and so on...
