everyone seems to be happy with their tank. Though i hear often people wish they went with the bigger setup. I wanted a 14, but now im leaning towards the 24. I checked out the 24 aquapod today at the LFS and it seemed about the right size. But like i said, im still researching. I still could always go back to the Bio 14. I'm attracted to the biocubes for some reason, i have a good feeling about it. I wish there was a bio 24. 29 i think is too big for me, i want to keep it small as possible.

Thanks paintballer, yeah I'm still debating. I like it small and compact, thats what attracted me to nanos. So what do you mean the back chambers have 2 choices?
I'm trying to find out it the biocube 14 and aqua 24 are pretty much the same, or if the 24 has room for extra add ons (skimmer, etc) that the 14 can't handle. Or are they pretty much the same but gallon difference? thanks all
not sure if it has been said.. but the 14G cube has plenty of room for a skimmer... not the same at all IMO but it depends on who you talk to. if you have the $ then I would say a 29G biocube. plenty of room in the back chambers on the cubes for a refrigirum and cheato, enough room in the hood for a mini sun light int he back as well.

meh not great lighting at all... biocube (14G) had 48W of lights, 24 in the 10k form and 24 in the ac lights.... plus 2 blue moon bulbs. not sure of the prices of the 12G nano cube... but unless it is more than $100 less than the 14G cube.. not worth it IMO. 29 isnt that much bigger that the 24 either

Here is a picture of the front...this was about 2 days after I upgraded lighting to the sunpod. I actually just added this skimmer and fan last night! I bought the fan from fosters, one of the best purchases to date tbo. like 22 bucks and keeps my heater going throughout the day to keep temp at 79. Only problem is evap which jbj auto should solve.

It's nothing special, but in a couple months I'm hoping to do a full transfer to sps.

Personally I absolutely love the size and quality of the 14gallon. I think in the back of your mind your always going to think you need to go bigger to allow more options with accessories, but in the end it's very easy to go overboard and the 14g tank is allows me to spend exactly the short amount of time keeping it up that I want to devote to fish.
When I got the tunze 9002 installed and running smoothly, it sealed the deal for me and the 14g..

Hey Whisk, I like the 24g's but I wish the 24g aquapod didn't have junk lighting and that the 24g nano wasn't so expensive. My problem is that I don't know what will be too small in a short time for other corals and/or fish or too big to where it looks empty; thats why I am gonna trust the freindly members on saltwaterfish.com for their advice .lol.
