Aquarium Lighting for Home

Anyone ever used aquarium lighting for your indoor home lighting? I just dont like the yellowness of tungsten lamps. Also, even the daylight NO fluorescents looks too un-natural.
Just a thought....

I think that would be an expensive option. Well.. depending on what you're talking about. To acheive a more natural lighting feel you need to try different variations of flourescents and combine then with incandescent lighting. There are different variations of flourescent lighting, you can get them to FEEL more natural by tring them. Warm white would be a more yellowish tone, while cool white would be a more bluish tone. Most offices use the cool white because they are more friendly to the user. <They seem more whittish> supplement these wth some incandescent lighting and it'll be quite natural.

I just hate to throw away aged bulbs every year. I am looking for ideas to use old bulbs.
I think lit actinics look good as a light saber....
