Aquascaping Epoxy Help Needed

I have some dry base rock that I would like to "glue" together to make some interesting shapes. I know that there are some epoxies you can order online but I was wondering if there was something more convenient (ie Wal-mart or hardware store) that would work and be safe. Thanks!

great stuff makes a pond liner foam in a can. just like that yellow stuff they make, only this is marine safe. you can get at that big orange hardware place (no names can be mentioned here) or that other one thats blue. just go to the outdoor department. on one of the "other" reef sites, some of the guys have been putting together whole tanks using this method and it looks really good.

I don't know that the foam stuff would hold rocks together.
I haven't found an epoxy I felt safe using outside of a aquarium supplier. Not to say they're not out there. I'm going to have to buy about 10 tubes this weekend to glue together my 250 pounds of rock. While I'm setting my 180 back up I'm going to try and avoid the stacked look. Hard to get good water flow through rocks when they're stacked like that and I just don't like the way it looks.

in the past I have found plastic rods or small hard plastic pvc pipe and then drilled a hole through the rock and used the plastic rod to stack them

go to home depot and buy a product called aquamend. it is made to repair pools. It is over by the glue and stuff in the paint dept. it is the same stuff that many stores sell rebranded as coral putty. only cost around 5 bucks and works perfectly. been using it for years.
