i was just thinking if u could use little tanks in ur main tank to place rocks on, keeping the opening of the tank facing out so the fish will have a cave, in my mind it looks awsome plus the lil tanks wont tank up that much room, i have a lil 5 gal i was gonna put in my 75 gal to see how it looks, even those lil octogons u can buy in walmart would be cool to try , any feed backs on ideas or critisisms(how ever u spell it) would be welcomed

I agree with Kip, the only drawback is that it would be tough to get prime circulation throughout the little tank and main tank....
Great idea though!

I am definatly going to try this idea to add more shape to my rock formations. I think instead of the smaller tank just anything really that's sturdy.
You could cut holes in the back so water could flow through it and then get a power head closer to the cave. Tell me how it goes and thnx for the idea.

no prob yae4, im just tired of looking at my rock, no matter what i do it looks like my baby niece stacked the rock..lol, im tired of my rock just looking ok, im gonna tinker around with it this weekend to see what i can come up with, walmart sells little acrylic octogons, maybe i'll try 1 of those, if u come up with anything cool post it:)

hows this, if strenght of the glass might be an issue why not take a few pieces of plexiglass and make some deviders in the little tank that is going to be placed in the main tank, there are 2 reasons for this the first and most obvies is for strength, and the 2nd would be for the fish to have there own little cave instead of 1 big sleeping area
