aragonite question

i was wondering if you could add LS to a 2 inch bed of aragonite? would you just add it on the top of the aragonite or mix it in? will the live rock seed the aragonite over time thus elimanting the need for live sand?

another question do you vacume a live sand bed?

To the first post, just lay it on top and avoid stiring it up. To the second post, no.

my tank has been running for a year with just a few problems do I need to add live sand? I have about 12olbs of live rock.
