Possible it could even be a blastomussa wellsi after looking closer.

I see what you are saying about the separation between favia and the arcans.. but the blasto have this separation like a arcan.

IMO it's a favia, possibly Favia favus.
Favia actually do have separated coralite walls. It's probably favites that you're thinking of that do not have the separation.
