Are all worms bad

Just wanted to know if all worms are bad. I just noticed a 1inch worm looking thing. I have 2 sea serpents and this worm lookks like a piece of him broken off and is still alive. Its light red with alot of small tentacles all around it. I dont have a picture of it. Anyone know what it is.

Absolutely, positively not! In fact most are desirable and beneficial. Few are problems. But there are thousands of species - so can't tell you what it is

bristle worm more than likely and a good scavenger. most all worms are good guys and get a bad wrap LOL

cool i was starting to get worried. There's so many things that keep popping up and growing in my reef tank. Its pretty amazing stuff. I never get bored.

LOL if you wanna see more use a red filtered light and look about an hour after lights out you will see even more in there.

where can you get a red filtered light?

walmart just about anywhere that sells hunting supplies or flashlights will have it if not you can use anything that is red and it will work.
