Yeah but then I'd miss seeing my guys hoist the Stanley Cup tonight. Maybe your Aves will have some better luck next year.

BTW, remember when Mike Vernon beat up Patrick Roy?

Sorry not a hockey fan . Even at that you assume I am a homer ? There isn't one team in denver I would support .

The drinking into oblivion and strippers are old school.
Now best bach parties I have been to are simple. Take three or four close friends and go play at a favorite golf course, or go fishing at a favorite place. Eat a great steak and enjoy a cigar with guys you have known for at least 10 years and have no women around.
While you might be close with your friends it just is such a pain to try and organize just a random fishing trip. Everyone has thier families and lives to work around. The Bach party theme gives everyone a get out of jail free card to free up the whole day.
Go out, fish, drink and swear. Enjoy a great steakhouse and its a great time.

That is the thing to do, smoke a big fat cuban, play some golf then watch a ball game that night! Dude tampa bay is in first go. (I don't know about your marlins)

I know exactly how you feel. My wedding is exactly 3 weeks from today and I have not had a party, and I doubt I will have one.
In my situation, I was unable to find anyone who I trusted enough to run a calm, collected affair. The one guy who really wanted to plan it told me, in these words "I'm going to get you so drunk you won't know what you're doing!" When I told him that there was no way I'd allow that, his reply was "I'm afraid you don't have a choice."
He was wrong.
haha, I had one of my groomsman say that, funny thing is he didn't make the bach party his probate officer wouldn't let him go.

I got married in january, and did not have a bachelor party. I really regretted it, and i really wish i would have had one. I personally did not care if my wife had some guy bumpin and grindin on her at her party, as long as she doesnt sleep with him i dont care
I didnt necessarily need strippers, my wife would have thrown the biggest fit because she is WAY too jealous about things like that.........
I had a few of the guys over the night before, but ended up making sure my junkie cousin didnt sneak out of the house and smoke who knows what
Hes a moron, and have stopped talking to him for good after the wedding.
dude, all this time I thought you were the chick not the guy.

All we did for our bach party was go to san marcus and rent some tubes. Float the river and drink a few adult beverages. Nice mellow and relaxing. Then we went the next day to San Antonio and walked the river walk and ate some mexican food. If my friends were golfers we would have done that too

MiaHeatLover I am 31 and am getting married in September and I feel the same way. Bachelor parties are IMO for kids who havent gotten the partying out of their system yet. At my age I find them immature and I'm actually a little disgusted at the idea of a stripper tbh I just end up thinking that could be my daughter. I am going to have a party, but i wouldn't even call it a bachelor party. Going to a baseball game or comedy club with some friends than meeting up with my finace and her friends afterward. All in all, pretty tame which is just the way I like it.

I think that an avatar pic of a couple tends to be a girl thing. Guys usually have a pic of themselves flexing in the mirror as an avatar, not one that shows they are not available. I realized you were a guy from your posts. My wife likes the fact that you have such an avatar and has asked me to do the same. Several other guys have avatars depicting both halves of the whole.

The bachelor party is all about you!! I opted to pass on the strippers and hootchie bars myself. We had a full day of shooting firearms, followed by canoeing a spring fed river with adult beverages and then a little BBQ action at my buddies house with more booze and MMA fights all night on the big screen!!!

lol, I was gonna put a picture of our wedding on, but haven't gotten any wedding pictures back yet. I didn't take that from the avitar but I could have sworn you'd said my husband or something like that before.

All I will say is that if you have to pay a woman to take her clothes off for you then you have issues
Seriously, I've always thought bachelor parties were kind of lame and the whole strip club/stripper thing has always seemed silly to me. After all there are hordes of women out there who only need a drink or two and some encouragement and they will provide you hours of entertainment
