I had a pair of blue damsels and they got along fine for 3 weeks. then one killed the other. now just today i found my royal gramma basslet swimming upside down and i assumed it was just the current being too strong because it was doing fine a few hours ago then i found it being harrased by the blue damsel.
Idk if the royal gramma will survive the night i got it in a quarantine net atm but im wondering are blue damsels really this aggressive? i have other fish in here that i am sure it will target next and im just ready to get rid of it if that is the case. give it back to the pet store i got it from.
all the fish in this tank are pretty mellow even the aggressive fish besides this one. this one harrases other fishes and it seems every 3 weeks it kills off another fish. just wondering is this fish THIS aggressive in general?
any ways to stop it from being so aggressive otherwise? i'd hate to get rid of it but i don't want my other fish to die either. this is a 55gal tank and it has quite a few cracks for the fish to hide and sleep.
