Is that from your filter?
If its from your protein skimmer, thats not good, but the filters fine, just dont buy one of those bubble strip things, thats not good for saltwater.

Thank you. I started my first saltwater tank about a month ago and for the first 3 weeks there were no bubbles but now there are.

It could be as simple as evaporation. is your water level lower than it was 3 weeks ago? if it is it could just be from the filter flow dropping into the tank. My aquaclear 500 used to do that when the tank level was low.

Yup bubbles are air formed when your filter spills out onto the top of water level...if you raise the water level it will stop some what. But the concern is your salt level will rise with evaporation, salt is concentrated, you need to top off with fresh water. Make a little mark somewhere on your tank when it is full and then check it every so often, if it falls below that line it's time for a top off. Hope this helps you...Welcome to the forum!

Yeah turns out it was just the water getting low.
