Are Chevron Tangs Hardy?

i just got a chevron tang after a ong debate over what fish to make my central show fish in my 120 reef... i have done a lot of research, but no one has really posted how hardy these tangs are.... i see its marke as easy for care... any input?

I say go for it as long as you arent overstocked to begin with.

there alright as long as you don't have any other tangs in your tang of the same Genus .. like the Kole tang .. but how much did you get it for?

that's a pretty good price .. there was one on sale at my lfs for 180 and he was like 2 inches .. how big is yours?

nope....they are like clown tanks and achiles tangs....not hardy at all..at least what i heard

I got a chevron for like 60 bucks, guess I got a good deal! I keep it with a yellow tang, a hippo, and an achilles tang. they have been together for year now and no problems so far.

yeah .. there wouldn't be any problems in your tank adam .. since there aren't any tangs in your tank of the same genus as the chevron .. keep up the good work with surgeonfish everyone!
