Are chromis reef safe?

I looked for it on the left, but couldnt find chromis... Are they reef safe?

I have the green chromis, and they are reef safe.

VERY, they have a very cute personality too. Mine love to current surf in front of the powerheads!

ok, now.. would it be ok to add 3 of them at a time?
i know u should only add 1 at a time, but the lfs has a sale on 3 for $18

If your tank has been set up for awhile it should be okay.

If they're the small ones, about 1", I don't think you'd have any problems adding 3 at once. I put 3 in my 30 gal. and all have done well. Really cool the way they school and seem to change colors.

It is neat to watch how they go from green to blue.

yea the tank has been up for a few months, i have a few corals and a neon blue goby

how big will they be when fully grown?
I picked 3 up, did the temp float and a 2 hour drip, put em in the tank for an hour b4 i put the lights back on..

Maxium length is said to be 4 inches but I think that is probably on the big side , Mine are about 3 inches. :joy:
