from my other post i was told i shouldn't keep my golden sleeper goby as it will turn my live dsb into "dead sand" and it made me worry since. does anyone keep goby (particularly Golden goby) in reef tank? my goby is in fact turning top sand up side down, but so are my perc clowns.

you can't kill live sand, the live part would be the pods and he is just eating them, he probably can't eat enough of them to make the sand unlive, but the pods will come back anyhow

Sifter-type gobies eat only organisims on the top layer of a DSB. If your DSB is the correct depth, you really shouldn't have a problem.IMO.
