Are isopods in all live rock? IDK if i have any...I know that you cant see them......

I have live rock, i dont know where its from, but it had ALOT of growth on it, coraline and little dusters and such.

You usually need pretty mature tanks to have pods...as they are delicate organisms. it's possible that your rock has some alreayd but in about a year or so it should be fairly loaded.

To see if you have pods use a flashlight when the lights are out for awhile. I have thousands running all over my LR and sand. If you have them, thats how you will know.

I noticed mine after the cycle finished (about a month ago) now I see them all the time and some are pretty big (about 1/8 to 1/4 inch).

what do they look like? I have little bug like looking things swimming around at night. they look like tadpoles my wife says lol.

BINGO...You win the prize. They are the pods everyone wants so bad. Give it time , and they will be everywhere. Don't get a mandarin until you see them everynight. Usually takes about 6-8 months.

Mine have actually 8 legs I think and mine have like horns pointing out the rear and they are brown in color.

i also have smaller bugs than the six legged pods with antennae they are much smaller could they just be juvenile pods? i am worried that they are little parasites

Those are probably baby mysis shrimp. Pods crawl on the glass and substate mostly.

Yep, i have all types, colors and sizes.
