are manderins tough?

If I put some culerpa (or however you spell it) in my tank.........will the copod and amphipods help keep one alive.........and how about mysis.......ive been reading that they starve to death sometimes.......BUT I WANT ONE

skip the caulerpa, just add a bunch of LR and then let it mature for awhile, or if you have a refugium introduce them into that if you already dont have them...a good rule of thumb is 100 lbs of LR per manderin...but make sure you have pods on the LR or it'll defeat the purpose...

I believe you can buy pods that you can add to your tank. I'm not sure where from though. Maybe someone will know the place to go.

If your gonna get one for sure, be patient. Get one that you can see eat prepared foods before you buy it. That would be the best route IMO.
