When i clean the glass with my mag float the clowns follow/go after it. i'm just wondering if they are being aggressive towards it or if they are just that curious. And am i not feeding them enough or do they always just want to be fed?

My clowns do the same thing, but it is because they host that magnet. That is what the stay by primarily and they sleep by it too. Clowns ca be quite mean as well though. I have heard them called "over glorified damsels" and we all know about damsels...

well, they def. don't host it. I'm pretty sure the female is being aggressive towards it. but only when i am moving it. They don't care about it when it's just sitting there.

I must have the rarest clowns and damsels ever
they are so timid and hang out together all the time. They must be conspiring against me...%%

I should say Clown, as one jumped ship from the likes of my hawkfish

my friends clarkii bit him anytime he put the razor in the tank to scrap off any algae. That sucker had sharp teeth. My saddle back clown bit me once.

Do they bite it, or just follow it?
The clown in my big tank follows me around the tank, because it knows I'm where the food comes from, but it is a big wimp when anything (hand, tool) enters the tank.
In my smaller tank, the male ocellaris attacks my hand after about ten seconds. He's gotten so bad that whenever I have my hand in there for a long time (cleaning coralline, rearranging rock) he goes in a fish bagger until I'm done. His lady friend goes in too, although she's never bitten me.

mine swims up and bites me... HARD. I have given her the thump quite a few times which seems to settle her down.
Does yours have an anemone? I think once they have one of those they get more aggressive about protecting it. I have a big maroon in another tank without one and she a big wimp.

My maroon clown would attack my magnet every time I would clean the glass. She is about 2 1/2" long...Big Betsy. She would also splash me with water at the top of the tank when I would be feeding my corals. One time she splashed so hard she jumped right out of the tank and hit the floor....I 'bout hit the floor with her..HAHA It doesn't hurt it when she bites just scares the crap out of ya...lol
I added a sebae and she went straight to it and is not that aggressive anymore. I can touch the anenome and she wont bother me anymore. She only gets ticked me she see's that blue net in the tank..ha ha
I added a baby maroon about 8mos ago and she accepted him into her anenome almost instantly. I was scared she was going to kill him but she didn't.
I dont understand the dramatic change with just an anenome but it sure calmed mine down a lot!
