Are my clowns going to lay eggs?

My clowns have been busy the past couple of days "rubbing" on a rock (not flashing) as if they are trying to clean it. They also aren't leaving the area.

mine are breeding and ive never seen them rub up against the rock, ive seen them swim really close to the rock really fast to kick up any sediment, and ive seen then pick at it with their mouths, and also ive seen them use their rear fins to blow away debries.
but also, just FYI some clown pairs have been known to clean a spot for breeding up to a year before actually laying the eggs.

I'll have to look closer. Maybe they are just swimming really close to it. I have seen them picking at it alot with their mouths.

I have heard that the two of them clearing a spot and staying close to it is a good sign they are going to breed eventually. If you think you would like to rear the young if and when they come, you better start the research now and get prepared!
Good luck

I really don't have any interest in raising the babies, but I sure don't know if I can handle them becoming fish food either.
