I've found these lights and they are dirt cheap. are they any good?
example:
2x150 metal halide with 4x24 T5, 48", $330
granted, I think the bulbs are not included, but this still seems like a good buy.

I have the Odyssea with PC lights in it and love it I would recommend them I had a bad ballast "due to shipping" but the guy is sending me a new one.

i have the 24" 130w, and i love them also. just wish they had a 3rd switch, so each set of lights is controllable, but thats easy to do myself

is yours MH with pc, or just pc? where did you buy it from? if it was online, let me know or email me pontius2000@yahoo.com thanks
this site I found, everything seems to be extremely cheap, except the fixtures don't come with bulbs. but their 150w MH bulbs are only about $29 each, which also seems pretty cheap

Mine is just PC lights with 2 fans and moon lights. I would get the one you found I found one but it was $500 buy it now! So that is a really good deal. And the price is from a guy who I have bought from before and I know he has them cheaper than anyone els. I would be all over it at that price.

Got my 48" 265w PC light a couple of weeks ago. The legs don't fit the tank and the fan is a little noisy when they start up. But other then that, for the price I love them. I got the light+ bulbs (12k daylight and true act.) delivered for $120.00. Lights and fan are switched (3).
I don't know a whole lot but, I like them!

Snipe, the place I found that fixture from is a factory direct company. ALL their stuff is cheap. the $330 is a sales price, but even the regular price is cheap. I think I'm about to have a real estate sale go through, if so, I'm going to seriously consider getting that fixture.
I have only had my T5 for about 3 months, I guess I would somehow modify it to my 30 gallon. my previous pc fixture is now on my cichlid tank.

i had the same problem, and contacted them. they were quite slow in responding, so i just went to radio shack and bought replacement fans...

jobob, I like the T5 better than my pc lights. personal opinion. they seem to me to be much brighter, and the coralline seems to grow better. they do run hotter than pc. I would just like to try the metal halides and see if I can keep pretty much anything.
also, I re-read that website, that fixture actually INCLUDES all bulbs. that's amazing for that price, if it's a good system

that seems like a lot of blue 20k and actinic. but other than that it looks like a good system. for the price u cant go wrong! i was thinkin of mh for my 10gal nano but im not sure? i was thinkin 175 10k with NO actinics. thats 195 watts. thats 19 wpg. i think its a little over doing it. i have 6wpg on my 55. i think im goin to try the t-5 and see how it goes.

With the Metal halides posted you could keep anything you wanted.
With PC or lower it is basically Soft corals, LPS and low light demanding anemones.
