Are the hermits,crabs,snails,lmb in danger ?

I just upgraded from my 55 to 120 and I used most of the 125 lb's of LR to put into the new tank (still looks empty )anyways, theres no algae at all on the glass or anywhere but the some that was on the LR I wanna make sure the CC can survive and the LMB can live but there is no algae yet..I put in some nori and some green algae sheets but I haven't seen any of the inverts or lmb eat it maybe they only eat it at night..the tangs love it...but I'm concerned that the CC and LMB might starve hoe can I prevent that until I get real algae growth ? My params are great so I don't expect any blooms anytime soon..maybe running the MH's from 6 hours to 8 hours might help...Just some thoughts.

lmb probably... i'd get that thing to eat asap. how are you putting it in the tank?
as for the inverts they should be fine. you could always drop a raw shrimp or a clam or something in to feed them.

the LMB I tie a feew sheets of marine green algae sheets to a rock and put it on the SB besides the algae on the LR he should have sufficient food but hes getting skinny and not as visable as before perhaps he's adjusting to the upgrade..I put in the algae sheets there's nothing else I can think of doing.

this is honestly the reason i won't buy a lmb. i have almost no algae in my tank and have no clue if it eats anything else

As they get larger they tend to eat anything you feed your other fish. Mine personally loved my homemade food.
Try feeding Mysis Shrimp with a couple of drops of garlic juice and see if he will eat.

My Lawnmower Blenny eats regular food. I have no algae in my tank, but he eats garlic pellets, frozen mysis shrimp, and other frozen food. If he is not eating there is probably something else wrong. Definitely try mysis shrimp...they sell them frozen a lot of places. Even difficult fish eat mysis shrimp. Good luck though...a healthy LMB is fun to watch.

well it used to jump around and swin nicely all over the back wall and over the tank now hes not visable I haven't seen him all day...I feed my animals Mysis shrimp and formula 1 pellets. I also offer nori and algae sheets for the tangs.

He will come back out. Give him time to adjust.

The CC was eating him this morning so there goes the LMB I got him to remove some algae now I have no algae and I'm affraid anything that eats algae will pass as well. I have 2 more pincusion urchins they are in danger too.

That is a good point. Mine now eats anything that hits the water. But here is the way, from a long time ago I got mine to eat:
I for the longest time, had issues with mine. After dropping tabs and hooking sheets to one of those little Algae sheet hangers for what seemed like ever fearing he was about to starve. Here is what seemed to eventually work for me, was hanging a wetted sheet of algae over the from center support of my tank. As the sheet softened I took parts of the sheet and mashed them between my fingers so it would flow with the currents in the tank. It also seemed to help with the snails for distribution of food for them. In short time he started chasing and eating these bits.
Now days Benny the Blenny has a fat belly and comes up and eats pieces right out of my hand!! Good luck with mine they become wonderful fish with some time and patience....... Warren
