Mushroom Polyp - Orange Ricordea. I would like to buy a few of these but the pictures look almost enhanced to me. I might be wrong, has anyone purchased them, are they really this orange?

I don't know, all I can say is that most of the things I order actually look better than the pics (once they acclimate of course) and I usually get a bigger piece, more branches, etc. than what I expected.

The lighting that the pic. was taken under and the lighting you have will make things appear different in your tank. The site does not doctor the pics. though. Barry

The pictures on this site do the corals a great injustice. I have ordered several and all of them look way better in person than on here. They use flash for every picture and it makes the corals look washed out and brown on the pictures, but in real life under decent lights they look stellar.
:joy:

It would be nice if they had a selection of corals that you could actually purchase, why is everything "Wishlist"? You can get the basic stuff anywhere, but then again it is called saltwater FISH .com. I would give them a try for corals if they had more items offered, hint, hint....

You have to understand the volume that they sell too. There are so many members and people ordering it usually does not take long to sell the items. The surest way possible to get the item you need is to be placed on the wish list and you will be notified asap by email when the item is in and ready.

I never realized that, thanks for the hints....Maybe I'll try my luck and see if I can get some of the items I'm looking for by using the wishlist thingy...
