Are there ANY toxins in mushrooms?

So I am thinking about puting an assortment of mushrooms in my dolphins (flipper) enclosure to get them to grow fast. There are tons of zoos spreading like CRAZY in the enclosure so I think mushrooms would do well in there also. Are there any toxins in mushrooms that say if a dolphin ate it would do damage. I know there are in zoos (palytoxin) but they are in a spot that is not accessable. Thanks.

None that I'm aware of. This isn't a positive no, but almost positive. The zoa's would cause much more harm. Now if the dolphins showed a particular liking for them, I'd remove them. Just observe

I work at a dolphin research facility so kind of yes, but not really my own. I just work here! 12 to be exact!

Yeah, the place I work is awesome. It wouldn't do for delicate corals but for hardy ones like zoos and mushrooms and I am even thinking about trying a gorgonian frag as the current is WAYYY strong and HIGH in nutrients.

I am hoping that they spread that much in the enclosure. I could make some $$$$$$$$$$

You have got to have one of the coolest jobs on the planet. Excellent!!!!!
I woulddn't worry too much about the dolphins eating the mushrooms. Not their natural food so they would most likely leave it alone.
