i was wondering if you could breed 2 types of clown fish together and also do you think a black occelaris clown(dont know if i spelled that right)and a a regular occelaris clown could breed together.
but that doesnt mean they will breed, also, its gonna take a lot of work and a lot of time, talk to bang guy and a few of the others who have bred them to see just how much work and patience and trial and error its going to take you before you even begin to attempt this
Yes they can breed. I cant remember if its a picasso or snowflake that comes from a misbar occelaris and a true perc. I think its the snowflake. I actually have a misbar occelaris and true perc that are paired up in my 40g but they have not breed.
correction to my statement the snowfake are both occelaris and the picasso's are both perculas. But they do have a hybrid called a percularis. I just looked it up. I wasn't positive what it was so I looked it up, but I did know they had been succesfully breed.

Since Black&White Ocellaris are the same species as the "regular" Ocellaris the offspring are not considered hybrids.
A hybrid would be something like a Percula + Ocellaris or the less common, Maroon + Ocellaris.
once upon a time i remember reading a thread about a guy who was able to pair a false perc with a maroon. now i mean "pair" and NOT "mate" they are just able to hang out in the same anemone and be friends without killing each other. i recall it because the owner was so proud that the maroon actually accepted the false perc as a buddy.
although that doesnt answer the hybrid question
