Coral cats are venomous, columbians are not. Coral cats get large, over a foot. Columbians can reach the same lenth if in a large enough system.

not worth it for me, i do like the way catfish look.
in my fresh water days, i had a South American Red Tail Cat, that got 3 feet in my 125. had to give him away. i actually tried calling Camden aqaurium but i guess they thought i was messing around. the catfish was huge.

Hey,
They do exist! I got these marine catfish 3 weeks ago. They have a venomous spine. :scared: :scared: They hang out together when they are young but then as they get older they lose their stripe and want to be alone. They are cool to watch man. :jumping: :jumping: Here's
some pics!
Enjoy

Channel cats can reach well over 2 1/2-3 feet in an aquarium. My cousin bought one because she thought he was "cute" I sold him to a lady with an outdoor pond (after he reached a foot in her 15 gallon, the fish could barely turn around. They will continue to grow). I sure hope you are not planning to buy a cat for a 20 gallon tank. They ALL get large.
