Are these corals suffering?

Hi, I have a 55g with T5 4x54w Current Nova Extreme. I was looking at some pictures and I am wondering if these corals are just acclimated to the different light or are suffering. Both are SPS and both are at that top of the tank, one in the middle and the other on the right side.Club Finger Coral - When I got it

The darkness is just the addition of zooxanthelia, different lights are a major cause of that. Not a bad thing just looks different in your tank. They look fine to me. Polyp extention (furry looking) is not a bad thing

Darkening is usually a good sign for corals, typically the zooxanthellae algae is growing. I agree in that they both look much better as of today.

Thanks! I was worried the polyp extension was happening because the coral was not getting enough light and needed to filter feed more and therefore suffering.

Cool!
Lets hope it does not have enough energy to extend sweepers and do battle
My Anemone has decided it likes the rock crevice between these two guys!
At least the Amemone is out front and not in the back.

Glad to hear the corals are OK. Several others in the tank are "under observation" due to questionable behavior (no verdict yet). Top it off, my new fish (in QT) has Ich.

SPS (and Im not sure which ones) can start major chemical warfare to inhabitants that are close to them. They dont have to be touching, keep a close eye out and watch for any signs of stress or illness in either the coral or the anemone, if they are that close to eachother.

Yep... I cant post the link but Bob Fenner has elaborated on this. Its quite common, and a lot of sps deaths are attributed to a chemical battle with an inhabitant close by typically another sps.
