Are these white masses eggs? Help!

found these today attached to the rock portion of my bubble coral. They are white and fuzzy. Could the be eggs of some sort? Please help!

they are q tip sponges. good thing.

From what I understand, if they are indeed sponges, they will slowly die... Should I keep them or remove them?

Keep em, they won't die I've had them in my filter and under my rocks for months. There is practically no light in my filter, and they are growing.
