Sometimes a person wants to just go in and get what they want...they are on a mission. Others have the day free, they like to just relax and look around, get a bite to eat and laugh and visit with friends.
JMO..normal people do not go around thinking everyone that is not just like them has something wrong with them...
Cranberry's aunt dressed up to go to the mall.
If I ever go back, I would feel more comfortable being dressed up, even if it's a quick dash.
A day out with friends?? Most were alone or mother daughter types. Or as Sho says, (and yes, it was international), gay males. They got dressed up to go there and buy more stuff to dress up in!
I don't think there is something wrong with people not like me, I think there is something wrong with all of THOSE people, and they are, by no means, like me... Or anyone else in this thread.
I know some mall types, some of my best friends are... ah, that's a lie. But I know them. Never look at price tags nor would they dare ask. They are vane, and more so, rude. The employees that I had to talk to were super nice, but the shoppers, were...not so much. The mall really is like a whole new world. It's up there with bars, and clubs. It's now a "scene". And not one I can ever see myself in.
