Arguing?

I love a good argument and I am wondering if I am alone. I know that I can't possibly be because we otherwise wouldn't have debate teams. I view it as something fun to do, even if you don't believe in your own side and agree with the person, I find it to be enjoyable. So do you guys think of it as something enjoyable or as something to "deal" with and why?
