The only reason why I'm saying that they are missing is that I see them dead behind rocks and stuff...then missing within a day or two thats why I said if something is eating them....and they are very large so hardly not noticeable...they're about 2.5" believe it or not.

dont even bother buying new hermits. just stick with snails, a mix of turbos and nassarius, imo.

Hermits have there place. You could be loosing them due to temp swings, salinity swings or salinity that is too low. What is you high/low temp and your salinity?

My tank can be deathly still. I call my wife in to see it. I take a piece of HBH Super Soft Pellet Food. Has a strong aroma. I drop one piece in and like an explotion, hermits come "running" from every crevice of the tank. It is quite funny to watch. One minute it seems there is nothing in the tank, the next, they are climbing over each other to get to that smell!
They get going so fast sometimes, they run right past it.

Yeah, when during feeding time they all rush down for food so I sorta keep count I only got 11 left thus far. My salt is exactly where it should be...1.023 and temp is between 77-82.

You might want to raise it for inverts to 1.025. Just let evaporation get it there.
