I can't believe it, my harlequin Tusk has ich - I have had him for 3 months and I quaratined him for 2 months prior to introducing him to my tank - plus I watched him for 6 weeks at the LFS - before I bought him. I can't believe it. I think he also has something else along with that - He is not using his one flipper and it looks like a white powdery substance is on his one fin, and on his body where the flipper leans against and it looks like it is decomposing a little. He hid all day yesterday so I knew something was up - sure enough, this morning when I turned on the lights he had ich and he was swimming with only one flipper, I swear I cannot win. Anybody know what the white substance is? My levels are ammonia - 0 nitrite - 0 nitrate- 20, ph 8.2, calcium 400 ppm.
