Arrow Crab problem?!?

Hey quick question,
I have a arrow crab in my 75 gallon tank and this thing is pretty big. I have read on many places that they are reef safe. I don't think I shouldn't have to worry because I only have an anemone and two feather dusters. Lately though I have noticed that my crab has been picking at things. He has gone after the anemone, but that was becuase there was some food that had fell on him. But tonight I noticed that he had a hermit crab in his claws and it was still alive. The thing was completely out if its shell. I quickly got him out of his claws, but I was just wondering how it even got there. Could the arrow crab have just picked it right out of the shell or maybe had it already been out of it's shell? Any help would be great!
Thanks,
Justin:happy:

Ive got one in my tank, They are reef safe because they usually just eat algae. But he has also demolished my cleaning crew He kills them but if you feed pellets i would make sure some gets to the bottom so he can eat them it might help his appetite a little.

there not reef safe!! those guys are little murderers!! mine at a peppermint shrimp and one of my gobies before i put him in a serparate tank, and he probably did just grab your hermit crab out of his shell. ive even heard stories of them eating snails... and they dont eat algae, there scavengers =P

I have heard that they will also eat feather dusters. We started to get one but the guy at the store recommended that we not put a feather duster in with our arrow crab. Now that I see he also will pick on shrimp and others I will keep an eye on him for sure.
