arrow crab problems

I think my arrow crab killed my firefish. I went to feed today and he was there, w the poor little guy in his arms. do you think he did this, or the firefish was dead before???

Crabs are opportunists....If it was able to catch it IMO it would ...BUT....most healthy fish should be able to get away....MOST...NOT ALL LOL
Crabs are also sneaky

Bob Fenner has this to say about them.
"Comical in shape and behavior, for the most part unassuming, the Caribbean Arrow Crab, Stenorhynchus seticornis can be an asset in its predatory consumption of flatworms and Polychaetes (e.g. Bristleworms). Like almost all crabs, this decapod is an opportunistic omnivore, that though it's apparently small, appears passive, can and will sample other invertebrates, even fishes if it can grab them."
