I think its fine for you to get one. Keep in mind though, they devour bristle worms, which are excelent and beneficial members of the cleanup crew.

i have heard many stories or arrow crabs eating inverts, and even fish. They are some of the more agressive inverts. I have never had experience with them though. Just saying what i have heard o so many times here.
man do they look cool though

As far as I know arrow crabs won't eat inverts. I have one and it hasn't touched any of my inverts. It is an amazing scavenger though. Any little piece of food that touches the sand he is on it. I have even seen him steal food from one of my gobies that hangs out at the bottom.

i have one now and he doesnt mess with anything else in my tank, except for the bristleworms of course
. I dont know if this is another situation where it depends on the temperament of the one you get, but i would suggest getting it, they are really fun to watch

mine mostly just scavanges the tank, but right now it is strictly an invert tank, so about once a week a drop in some shrimp pellets to feed my hermits shrimp and arrow :happyfish

Mine was at least 6 inches across!! HE would eat anything and I mean anything on the bottom. I don't know If I would trust him. I have had two and they both were AWESOME scavengers and ate everything and didn't take any crap from anybody. Great personality too. You can hand feed them!!

Arrows tend to get agressive when they get bigger. Once they are large enough to catch fish and other inverts they will typically do so. I had one before which was fine until he grew up, then he munched snails and tried for a few gobies.
