Just wanted to let you all know that our TerryB has an article about Head and Lateral Line Disease in Sept's issue of FAMA [Freshwater and Marine Aquarium Magazine].
It will very likely be a good read even if you are not interested in diseases, as HLLE has more to do with fish health than anything else. Its a common ailment for tangs, but any fish can be effected.
I encourage all to take a look at it!

Not only does terry do a great job over in our disease & treatment forums...he has established himself as a reputable authority in the field of marine fish disease. Congrads to terry...and many thanks for helping us out here.Sometimes we take for granted the experience and knowledge available here....:cool:

I have to go to barns and noble for most aquatic mags,is there a way to get a sub without going 35 miles for one. i havent subscribed to aquarium mags for {or about} ten years.
Local book stores used to sell a lot of mags but it seems that is dwindling and only the larger chains carry a assortment of mags. :rolleyes:

A while ago Terry had a Sticky up on the forum asking for fish pictures to put in his HLLE article for FAMA. I happened to post by P. Hepatus picture, and, he liked it so he emailed me telling me about the file size and to give Susan my Full name. The next thing I new it was in FAMA :D Hopefully, there will be more pictures to come :)

Beth stated my feelings to a tee....we are fortunate to have the diversity of membership we have....and the atmosphere is much nicer than a few places I've been. I can't claim title to the great mod aspect. I'm still a relative rookie in this hobby and I'm learning all the time. But we do have an assortment of moderators that have a wealth of knowledge& experience...and they are willing to help keep this place up and going.Not only mods....we have great members in general and they certainly make my experience here much better.Plus in my opinion the absence of vendors on a regular basis is a positive for me....Graham...I do remember the request for pics....and hopefully we'll see more of your work in the future. Frank....great to see you here again also. :cool:

I'm possibly going to get a small book published of just people eating. I think it would sell quite good. I'm the process of getting peoples permission to use their photo's, as well as an Indie publisher. I think it's humorous, but that's just me :D
