Artistic people... can someone help me design a tattoo?

Hi,
I don't understand... Are you Jewish? I ask because Torah teaches not to mark your body. I am just asking, I know not everyone Jewish is an observant Jew. It is just that a tattoo is so permanent.
Did you get your picture off the mirror? I noticed the letters are backward. I fixed the lettering and added my idea. The grapes are copy, paste. It is just an idea.

Yes I am Jewish and I am aware that under the Jewish religion, one is not to "desecrate" his body. As for my personal feelings... almost every Jew, aside from the orthodox, picks and chooses which parts of the religion fit into his/her life. Some keep Kosher, some don't drive or turn on lights on the Sabbath. Each person incorporates the religion into his own life for his own reasons. Likewise, most Jews ignore or reject the ideals that he feels don't fit into his life. I do the same thing. And I don't believe that body art commits any offense to G-d. Just my personal belief.
Besides, I also feel that my tattoos are a tribute to Judaism.
Yes, I did get the pic off the mirror. Thanks for your idea. It's very good. I prefer the other design offered because I like the tribal look of it. The trees and branches sheltering the names also has some metaphorical significance. But thanks for the idea.

I put the trees closer together and over lapped the branches, thinned a little, added a few roots, and got rid of the fruit. I left out your tattoo also. Hope this helps. I am using Photoshop BTW. This is by far less than perfect. I could be at this all day, but I must get to other things.

I like this morph better. Gives more of the "family rooted and growing together" feel. Again well done Gypsana!

That looks awesome!!! I may copy it and try to photoshop myself because if I can get the size right, then the artist can simply trace. Thank you so much.

Crimzy most of the artists will tank a concept on a napkin and work with it. Not sure you have to do that much work other than any tweaks you might want. They will put it on a stencil to the correct size match and everything. Just sayin.

Thanks all for the
. I can not wait to see it when finished. As Spanko said your artist will be able to resize it and clean it up more. BTW you can send me a check for one trillion dollars. I need a stimulus.

No problem. As it happens I just had an unknown descendant pass away in South Africa and I should be receiving a large estate... just as soon as I take care of some nominal, administrative costs.

Gypsana, I should post my picture I have been working on and let you give it a go.
I'm doing a seahorse, maybe two together.

Well I got this done tonight!!! Gypsana, as you could probably tell I loved your design. Showed it to my wife and she really liked it too. However the design would have basically doubled the width of the tattoo, so that it would extend halfway into my back, and the height would have gone up into my armpit. While I think it was an incredible piece of art, I was not prepared to add something that large to my body.
In the end, my wife, me and the artist created a design from something else we saw. We borrowed the basic shape and molded it to intertwine the letters. I'm really happy with the way it came out.
Anyway, tell me what you think (only if you like it
).

You can purchase the stencil which really helps the artist unless you want to do your own

Yeah, it hurt... just a bit. I let a few explitives fly during the outlining. The filling in was a breeze.
