coraline feels like rock. its hard. it can come in all colors, not just purple. eventually thegreen will probably turn purple

It isn't really that the green coraline would turn purple. The purple would just grow on top of the greens because it's thicker than the green, and that is why it grows slower.

your color of coraline also varies on your light intensity. The darker the colors seem to enjoy less light, brighter colors seem to grow better in more intense lighting. So towards the bttm of my tank and in the caves i get deep red and purple, towards the top I get bright greens, pinks and whites. There is no real way to speed up the growth of coraline it just will start growing everywhwere in time.

its somewhat unpredictable, it will just one day start growing and it seems to grow the best/most under actinic bulbs and flors. not mh. One thing that might help, that I use from time to time when I add new animals or somthing is looking a bit stressed is Marc Weiss Reef Vital DNA. It seems to help.
