This is a good question. I think affordable quality LED fixtures would be huge. Right now there are affordable crap fixtures, expensive quality fixtures and expensive crap fixtures. I can't wait until we can all replace our T5's and MH's with decent LED setups.

I think that the John Pennekamp National Park off the coast of Key Largo, FL has to be considered a success story. The reef was literally being torn apart. They declared it a marine preserve in th 60's and it has been recovering since then.

personally i dont see t5s going away... Mhs and PCs yes but not t5s. The color combos and such are infinint almost.

In a few years, when florescent bulbs are no longer available, they'll be gone.
LEDs are making major headway, especially in the DIY area.

I have always enjoyed clownfish for their personalities. My second favorite is tanga in general.
