ASM-G2 For Sale

I am selling my new ASM-G2 protein skimmer. It has never been used as it does not fit in my sump. I will also sell the part kits for the valve flow i bought for $30.00 bucks. The skimmer its self was $230.00. I am asking for $150.00 dollars or best offer. Thats right $150.00 for a new ASM-G2 skimmer and valve kit.

If it's better than a coralife 220 needle super skimmer, my students and I will take it. We're looking for a good skimmer for a 125 gal tank at a good price. Needs to be fool proof and easy enough for a bunch of middle school kids to set up and maintain. Could this be it? Comments?

This skimmer is so easy to use just plug it in and forget it. I use the ASM-G1 and I dont do anything to it but clean the collection cup.

Thanks for a the quick reply.
I do note that you complained about the ASM G2 blowing micro bubbles all over your tank in a older thread at https://www.saltwaterfish.com/vb/showthread.php?t=185437 :notsure: Is this the same unit you are selling as "never been used"?
Also it appears that this is supposed to be run in a sump. I'm not sure we want to deal with a sump and may just go with an external unit which is what the Coralife can do (double duty). Please go ahead and entertain any other offers while I try to uncover some research or threads that will convince me that this is would be the best choice for my class and I.

Nope I bought a second skimmer as to think that the first was going crazy. After a few days the mirco bubbles went away and the second skimmer arrived. After the break in period this skimmer is great and it does go into a sump.
