hey everyone, here is my final design, and it works great!! Just wanted to post a couple of pics that show the final design. No more bubbles and pt skimmer is doing great!
Just one question anyone could answer.. how many times a day should i be emptying the collection cup.. should it be filling up 3 or 4 times w/n 24hr or what? i just need to know if im adjusted correctly

you are going to have to lower the output pipe. The water level inside the skimmer body is controlled by the output pipe, and with your putput that high, there is no way to lower the level. The pvc pipe you have for the outlet is about two inches too high for the water level. Doing the gate valve mod, and lowering the output pipe height will cure your problems.

actually, its running really well now. I just wanted to know whats the average daily rate you have to empty the collection cup?

I have a MSX 250 and empty the cup once per week, and it is usaully about 1/2 way full( it is a BIG cup though)
